Dr. Shannon Connor stands at the forefront of chiropractic innovation and healing. She is the only chiropractor in Southern California uniquely certified and actively practicing both NUCCA and Quantum Spinal Mechanics (QSM3) — two of the most precise and gentle upper cervical techniques in existence. Her work is not just technical — it’s transformational.
Dr. Connor graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, earning both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science. She went on to study intensively under a NUCCA master in Chicago while simultaneously launching her private practice at the Evanston Holistic Center. From 1995–1997, she co-hosted the Holistic Health Hour in Chicago, becoming a trusted voice in integrative health and conscious healing.
In 1997, she moved to Newport Beach to establish her own elite NUCCA practice, serving patients throughout Southern California with uncommon depth and precision. She later brought her healing voice back to the airwaves on KUCI’s Holistic Health Hour from 1998–2000. Her passion for mastery led her to become a lead NUCCA instructor at Cleveland Chiropractic College (2008–2009), and today, she is a faculty instructor of Quantum Spinal Mechanics — a cutting-edge modality focused on releasing tension, restoring balance, and creating lasting structural harmony.
But Dr. Connor’s commitment goes far beyond credentials. She understands that pain isn’t just uncomfortable — for many, it becomes a life-or-death situation. Chronic pain disconnects people from their joy, their families, their futures. She meets each patient with unwavering care, presence, and belief in their ability to heal. No two bodies are the same, and neither are the paths to healing — Dr. Connor treats each person as the unique individual they are.
She has also trained extensively in holistic nutrition and was involved in cutting-edge telomere research from 2008 to 2010 — a reflection of her ever-evolving approach to whole-body, long-term healing.

Dr. Connor’s work focuses on the most delicate and powerful part of the spine: where the skull meets the top two vertebrae — C1 (the atlas) and C2 (the axis). This area is incredibly vulnerable to trauma and misalignment, and even the slightest shift can cause a ripple effect of imbalance throughout the entire body.
